The EIIL's new website is now accessible at www.eiil.net.  The site is powered by content management software Joomla [http://www.joomla.org/] which is a free-ware product from the open source movement.  As participants of the 2005 Winter School discussed, the open source movement is an anarchic / chaotic self-managing network which challenges the paradigms, conventional thinking, and business models of the software industry. It seemed fitting that as an organisation with similar characteristics and analogous objectives for the executive education market, that the EIIL should adopt this particular solution.

The 2006 Winter School will again study further the developments in the open source movement and their relevance to future new self-managing structures and business models which the advances in information and communication technologies make possible.
