Today's leaders need to be able to motivate entire organisations; often operating across geographical and cultural boundaries. A key characteristic of an effective leader is the ability to get teams of people to achieve more than they could as a collection of individuals. Coupled with a sound understanding of business and operations, the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the company is essential to drive their teams to ever higher standards.

Workshops in this module are designed to help participants develop the personal and interpersonal skills needed to direct, motivate and influence others. They will also learn skills to deal with the stresses and conflicts associated with leadership.

Please note, courses HPL 3 to  HPL 7 use the skills developed in HPL 1. For those who have not attended HPL 1, we have additionally designed HPL 0 as a 'foundation' course, to enable HPL 3 - 7 to be taken as stand alone courses. The remaining courses in the module can be taken independently of all other courses.
