The European Institute for Industrial Leadership
Leading Teams of Teams
Making Organisations Effective
A four-day workshop, dates to be confirmed
Chateau Latour de Freins, Rue Engeland 555, 1180 Brussels
To fully participate in this workshop, delegates must have completed either:
HPL 1: 'High Performance Teamwork' or
HPL 0: 'A Teamworking Skills Foundation’
[This workshop will be immediately preceeded by HPL0 for those who require it].
Outline: HPL 7
The HPL workshops have focussed on single team activities. Few organisations comprise a single team, although many operate as a collection of individual teams. The four day Effective Organisation
workshop is alternatively known as ‘Teams of Teams’.
The workshop will explore the issues caused by the interaction of teams, by changing the composition of teams and by one team having responsibility for Management. The workshop will be inductive (giving the delegates a series of experiences from which they extract their own learning) supported by a team of McCourts coaches each with many years of experience being part of and managing complex organisations.
This practical workshop enables delegates to experience and review the effect of behaviours within more complex organisations giving the opportunity to develop the skills required to deliver an Effective Organisation.
This workshop has been a mandatory element in the development of management within many major companies.
Who Should Attend? This workshop is designed to meet the needs of engineers and technologists with seven to twelve years of post-graduate industrial experience and some early supervisory experience, including those in project management roles. The workshop will also benefit managers from other disciplines who need to lead multicultural teams of people in either general or functional management positions, particularly those contemplating significant business change programmes in the near future.
The workshop will be conducted in English.
