For some individuals, a mid-career break, whether enforced or voluntary, could be the time to benefit from one of the EIIL's Fellowship or Scholarship programmes. The Master of Industrial Leadership programme provides career-break opportunities for single-term, whole-year, part-time or full-time studies, supplementing the workshops of the EIIL Learning programme with the tutorials of the Theory and Philosophy of Leadership module, and working with the EIIL in its research projects.
 
The EIIL Master of Industrial Leadership programme provides unique post-graduate level training for professional engineers, technologists and scientists destined to be future European industrial leaders. This flexible programme is tailored to the needs of individuals who have demonstrated leadership potential and ambition. The programme is designed to enhance participants' leadership skills and business knowledge, as well as stimulate new applications of these competencies in their own organizations.

The programme offers five modules of standalone workshops that can be attended in any order to meet both the career needs of participants and the business objectives of employers. Each workshop is coached in small groups by successful industry professionals.
